The lemon-yellow door, giant fly sculpture buzzing above, mismatched chairs, and dried flowers all give this popular restaurant its air of eclecticism. That`s the word for the menu as well. Chef Brad Levy produces such varied favorites as shrimp-filled potstickers, an outstanding organic free-range burger, wonderful marinated rack of lamb, and a tasty vegetable curry. Firefly has an extremely devoted following, and the warmth of the service staff and the clientele reflect this.
If you try out Firefly, you`ll find a restaurant that focuses on preparing Californian and American food. Expect to pay from $12 to $20 per person.
Atmosphere: The place has a contemporary décor. In general, the lighting is moderate. The eatery has a romantic atmosphere. Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive.
